provides safe spaces for youths in the hours when they are most vulnerable to abuse. The combined effects of poverty, unemployment and a lack of access to basic services have affected family and community structures, with the result that parental supervision can be lacking.

connects the arts to everything important in a child’s life, from core academics to critical life skills. Arts education is associated with gains in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical-thinking and language skills, and can also improve motivation, teamwork, concentration and confidence.
