connects the arts to everything important in a child’s life, from core academics to critical life skills. Arts education is associated with gains in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical-thinking and language skills, and can also improve motivation, teamwork, concentration and confidence.
We use the power of creative expression to provide joy and enable whole-brain thinking, with the intention of creating community role models, innovators and problem solvers. Afro Arts students have an awakened sense of passion and purpose, and are inspired to dream about a different future.
